Where we are going
What really matters
It was never our goal to be the biggest car rental company, just the best. It just so happens that by sticking to our guns we’ve grown into the #1 car rental company in North America and arguably the world.
As always, our predominant focus will be growing our local rental business by continuing to pick up our customers and marketing to repair shops, corporations, insurance companies and policy holders with damaged or stolen cars.
Airport locations
In 1995, we opened our first on-site airport location at Denver International Airport, and our airport operations have grown steadily since then. This decision was based on the requests of customers who wanted to take advantage of our high level of customer service and value while away from home. We now operate more than 235 on-site airport locations globally and serve over 350 airports worldwide. We open an average of 2-3 airport locations each month and were recently ranked highest in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power and Associates Award for rental car companies at the airport.
From Canada to Germany
Since opening our first Canadian branch in 1993, we’ve built up a network of over 341 locations in Canada, as well as over 300 in the U.K., over 25 in Ireland and over 140 in Germany. To put it simply, our expansion will continue safe in the knowledge that our business model of superior personalised service and a highly empowered employee base translates to success in any language.
More Segments. More Success.
Other businesses we are growing include Fleet Services, Truck Rental and Car Sales. With over 175,000 vehicles in service, Fleet Services is a major part of our business. And as our rental and fleet businesses continue to grow, our ability to effectively and profitably sell our used vehicles will continue to be a high priority.
Technically speaking
Enterprise is deeply committed to robust upgrades in our technological systems. We have allocated $200 million per year to technology to keep pace with the enormous growth we expect over the next five years. By bringing the latest point and click technology to all our locations, we can stay on the cutting-edge of our industry.
Motivated people are key
No matter how large we become, our success story will always hinge upon thousands of smaller success stories – Individual managers and employees all with the vision and determination to be the best.
